You have got two ways of compiling your list: importing a csv file and add items manually:

After uploading a csv file, the Portal may ask you to choose versions. It may also highlight unrecognised items which won't be added to your standard list*

Once you click on 'next' the Portal will report the final results. If any, unrecognised items can be extracted in an Excel file.
However you can still add unknown items to your standard list:
